Inspiration

One of our Team member thought of making a travel website in which people can travel places virtually from the comfort of their place. And adding to it one of our team member came up with the idea of a chatbot powered by google Dialogflow with some recommendation system using Machine Learning. Then we thought that making this will bring people to utilize their time in holidays and have some fun by traveling the famous Monuments of four Continents virtually.

What it does

So Our Travel Website provides 360-degree videos which you can access and travel some of the famous monuments of 4 continents. It also contains the 360-degree ability which you can use by opening it from the mobile and turn over to see or watch the monuments. You can also put on a VR headset to have the best out of our 360-degree videos. And if you are facing any problem or any issues we have a Chatbot from which you can clarify your doubts. This can help you in many ways. Then you can find some of the blog posts down to read more about our website. And our Website is totally mobile responsive. The ways to use the 360-degree videos and get the best out of them will be explained in the Demo video as its main component.

How We built it

We used Html, CSS, and Javascript to make the Frontend part which included the Sign in, Sign Up page, Profile Dashboard, The main travel web page. The Frontend part was totally handled by Aditya Sinha. We used Flask, Python, Firebase, etc to make the Backend part. The Backend part was totally handled by Anush. The Chatbot was made by Aditya Sinha but the Functionalities were given by Jeevan. The 360-degree video was made by Aditya Sinha using Google Poly a 360-degree video service provided by Google. The website was hosted using Azure which was done by Anush and the Demo project was Hosted by Aditya using Netlify.

Challenges We ran into

Challenges we ran into were - 1 - The backend crashed once but we managed to make it again working 2 - Due to some big errors we were not able to make the chat application 3 - We faced a problem while adding the Chatbot to our website but we managed to do so

Accomplishments that we are proud of

Accomplishments that we are proud of is that we managed to complete this on time, that we made it totally functional. And we hope that people like our work.

What I learned

We learned how to manage time and work in a team.

What's next for TravelX

Next for TravelX will be that we will be adding some more ML recommendations and other AI things which makes our Website really powerful.
