Inspiration

We were inspired to create a website that facilitates connections among people from all over the world with the goal of enriching people lives with culture.

What it does

_TravelSkibidi brings individuals together by matching their flight schedules and interests to enable them to participate in shared activities.

How we built it

We developed the platform using Python for the backend, taking advantadge of powerful tools like pandas, with Django serving as the framework to manage the server and database operations. The site also features a carefully crafted UI designed with Django's powerful templating features.

Challenges we ran into

Our main challenge was mastering Django. As newcomers to the framework, we had to climb a steep learning curve.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are particularly proud of how we came together as a team to tackle difficulties, supporting each other through the learning process and ensuring everyone stayed motivated.

What we learned

This project was a valuable opportunity for us to enhance our programming skills and deepen our understanding of software development tools and practices.
