Travelscape

Inspiration

Have you ever wished to escape your current place and visit your dream paradise? But when you are able to travel and are at your dream place, you encounter troubles of not knowing where to eat, where to shop, and where to visit. That is why we build Travelscape, a site that will help you find locations to eatc, shop, and visit using Foursquare’s Places API.

What it does

• First we have a service such as typing your location and find restaurants to eat by choosing the filter option, choose foods, click apply and see places that sell foods.
• Second, you can find stores to shop by using the filter and filter only the shops button, click apply, and see list of shops to buy stuffs.
• Finally, you can find outdoor areas to visit by using the filter option and filter only the outdoor button, click apply and see list of locations to visit and enjoy your time.

How we built it

We built our page using HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Foursquare’s Places API.

Challenges we ran into

We had challenges to put everything together in one page.

We were able to build our app using Foursquare’s Places API.

We learnt about Foursquare’s Places API and how to use Foursquare’s Places API in our app.
