Inspiration

I originally wanted a photo organizer specified for travel photos and a map view to assist with travel.

What it does

This is a mobile app for travelers designed to enhance the travel experience. Users are able to organize photos to look back on, discover new attractions to visit nearby, and view their friend's travels as well.

How we built it

I built this app using swift within Xcode.

Challenges we ran into

I didn't know how to create an application, and I especially didn't know that Xcode or swift was a thing. Using previous knowledge of how other programming languages and editors worked, I skimmed through Youtube videos for 4 hours, taking notes on certain functions, syntax, and uses.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Learning a whole language in a day. Also figuring out Xcode (this was the most confusing). AND doing it by myself, thugging it out with youtube, google, and chatgpt.

Creating a (mostly) fully implemented and usable app on my device when I've only every worked with back end coding.
