Inspiration

The reason we built this app is because that we are the victim of hours of trip planning, this not only waste us Hours of time but also substantially worsen our travel experience.

What it does

It is a ios app designed to decrease the planning time of the trip and improve your traveling experience. It does a extensive research of the internet, tailor the trip to your travel type and generate in seconds.

How we built it

We have used swift as the main language and use cloudlfare as the back-end. We have a lot of built in connectors, APIs inside the app. For the Travelers ai, we used the GPT Realtime 2 model, with fine tuning based on .md and type script which balances quality and speed. We have used tavily+ perplexity for Researches. In addition, we have pre-loaded data base to make sure the User's experience is smooth. We spent excessive time on Front end designs to ensure a good user experience.

Challenges we ran into

1.Their is glitches and bugs that cost the app to crash. 2. we had issues connecting google map's API that delayed our progress. 3. We found out that a pure research app would be very slow and laggy, so instead we chose to have a synthesis between research + preload database.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The Frontend designs that we have, the passport feature that really attracts the users and build a unique profile for each users. Furthermore, we have a TBTI system that is Travel-Based-Type-Identifier, which creates avatars and tailor the app for specific user's preference. Last but definitely not least, The traveler ai feature which generates a detail plans by just talking within seconds, visualize it for the users and connects to google map.

What we learned

We learned the importance of balancing quality and speed in real-time voice models. We learned the Importance of UI & UX designs in a ios app. We learned how to setup google map/ several other connectors in ios apps.

What's next for Travelers

Personalization, connecting to google calendar, apple calendars, Memorable playback for a trip, popular photo spot check in with AI. Share to travelers Friend, etc.
