TravelBuddy

Inspiration

Our inspiration was the fact that going to foreign countries can be a struggle at times because of many different aspects such as language barriers and different surroundings. Also, the fact that most social media now have changed from posting pictures of the world and more of pictures of ourselves, and this app would be solely for people who want to meet others with the same interest in exploring the world.

What it does

‘TravelBuddy’ is an app that helps you connect with others, record, and post about your travels, and assist you when traveling in a foreign place.

How we built it

We built ‘TravelBuddy’ using Figma and photoshop.

Challenges we ran into

When we first tried building this app we used thunkable which made us run into a lot of problems but we recovered quickly and found an alternative.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We’re proud of building an idea that came straight from our heads into an actual program that runs smoothly and effectively.

What we learned

We learned how to implement Figma in our ideas and how to work collaboratively to get one job done.

What's next for TravelBuddy

There’s a lot of open opportunities for TravelBuddy but one is to be able to recognize a place by taking a picture and then giving a short summary about it.
