We have all taken trips where we ended up spending more money than what was expected due to gas stops and insufficient planning of stops. We wanted to create a webpage that will figure out how many miles can be traveled before needing to stop for gas, the total price for the trip (based on stops), and finding the cheapest gas station within proximity. The webpage will also display the total trip distance and how many miles until the nearest gas station from the starting location. TravelBuddy will provide an approximation of the total cost of the trip and provide additional suggestions based on the user's preferences. We had a lot of issues including merging APIs, not being fluent in Python or Flask and integrating frontend with backend.
