TravelBuddy

Inspiration

Our Inspiration was our love of travel. We both like to travel, but it's difficult when we don't know where to visit and what to do.

What it does

Our travel guide app gives you recommendations based on your interests. It will also help you connect with locals, who can give suggestions on places to visit.

How we built it

We built our project using VS code and GitHub. Since we had no coding experiences going into this, we used AI to teach us basic commands to begin building our website.

Challenges we ran into

We unfortunately were not able to create our connect with a local page, because we didn't have enough time and we didn't have enough coding experience.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we were able to create a functioning website, in the amount of time we were giving, with the amount of experience that we had.

What we learned

We learned how to use basic commands on VS code, such as how to add a container and how to add buttons.

What's next for TravelBuddy

We would like to continue adding to our website and create the "connect with a local!' page and add a chat room.
