Inspiration

You know, travelling places is fun especially when you are going with new people to experience new things. But it takes time, it takes to plan, time to think and time to consider their subtlety's of everyone. Why not automate it!

What it does

Worldwide Planner helps friends and groups from various background get together and go on a trip together. From food to eat, sights to see, the solution ensures that the sensitivities are considered and that the travel itinerary is feasible and within budget!

How we built it

The LLM model is done sequentially and prompted with a variety of best travel factors and practices so the user does not have to do the thinking. We tested it with individuals and helped refine the prompts we use to better ensure that the itinerary is finetuned to that of the specific interest of the user.

Challenges we ran into

Some of the challenges we face constituted what made a good plan for any couple of individuals and to what level of details this tool can serve for a user. We realise we do not need down to the minute plans but instead needed distance and variety as a key gauge for trips. After all, we are looking at exploratory leisure travel and this targeted segment can greatly constrain our problems

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We made a full fledge system that tells us of what kind of subtleties we should be aware of. It is quite amazing what AWS has achieved with the foundational model development and how after layers of abstraction, point and click tools like party rock can now have real world use cases.

What we learned

Partyrock is a great LLM tool for beginners! Solve simpler sequential models with it and you will be surprised by its amazing consumer level simplicity!
