Inspiration
Travelling can be a horrible experience. Making your way through the masses of tourists, sometimes not being able to move any step further while trying to chase away the guy who tries to sell you a "best quality selfie stick"... This doesn't look like a very peaceful holiday. Although the "must see" sights are nice, there are tons of other beautiful, often hidden, places. So why not to travel in a different way?
The idea is to connect the world of literature with our physical world by linking the works to actual places on the map which the author is referring to. By visiting the places that inspired the writer you can learn a lot about culture and find amazing sites.
What it does
Travel with poetry is an application for Android which features a database of poems and excerpts of fiction literature that are connected to particular places on a map. When you get nearby to an important spot that inspired a piece of poetry you will get a notification and the poem unlocks so that you can read it. You can see all the spots with literature works on a map but they are locked until you physically reach their location. You can find links to individual literature pieces in online publishing houses as well. Let yourself get inspired to explore your surroundings or simply enjoy the poetic view on the place you are passing through. Don't read crap literature Travel with poetry.

Each poem or excerpt from fiction literature can be accompanied by a link to the publisher with particular book thus generating traffic and purchases.
