Inspiration
We love traveling, but planning trips can be stressful with so many sites to check. We thought it would be fun to create a simple travel website that brings everything together in one place.
What it does
The site lets users:
- Discover different destinations
- Read travel tips and highlights
- Search and filter places based on interests
- Organize ideas for future trips
How we built it
We built it with:
- Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
We worked together through GitHub to share updates and manage tasks.
Challenges we ran into
- Making the design look good on both desktop and mobile
- Running into bugs while connecting different features
- Managing our time since we had to finish everything quickly
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- Finished a working travel website within the deadline
- Learned how to design a responsive layout
- Added search and filter features that actually work!
What we learned
- Teamwork and communication are super important
- How to fix bugs and not give up when things break
- Better skills in frontend and backend development
What's next for Travel Website
- Add more destinations and travel content
- Include login and personalized recommendations
- Possibly connect booking options in the future
