Vibe Travel

Inspiration

Vibe Travel was inspired by the feeling that modern travel has lost its soul. Trips are planned around bookings, reviews, and checklists, yet the most memorable moments often come from unplanned experiences and emotional connection. We wanted to design travel around how you want to feel, not just where you go.

What it does

Vibe Travel is an AI-powered, vibe-driven travel experience that curates daily city experiences based on mood, intention, and energy. Each day, users wake up in a new place—or a new version of a place—guided by culture, creativity, food, movement, and spirituality rather than rigid itineraries.

How we built it

We designed Vibe Travel as a concept-driven AI experience platform. Using PixVerse x GMI Studio, we built a cinematic narrative to demonstrate how the system works—vibes as inputs, cities as contexts, and daily experiences as outputs. The visual transformations represent how AI dynamically adapts experiences over time.

Challenges we ran into

One major challenge is that the videos we generated on the platform were capped at 5-10 seconds. So, we had to figure out a way to piece these videos together. Another challenge is creating prompts to make the video as similar to how we had envisioned it - this was especially difficult because the video generation model did not support text input that contained multiple scenes. To overcome this, we generated new prompts and kept tweaking it to get the output we wanted.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are especially proud of making a video that is immersive and cohesive with character consistency. We like that the main character is immersed into different parts of the world, showing the beauty of travel.

What we learned

We learned that the most impactful AI products are human-centered. Emotion, context, and intention are just as important as data. We also learned how powerful visual storytelling can be when introducing new interaction models.

What's next for Vibe Travel

Next, we plan to develop a functional prototype where users can select vibes, receive daily AI-curated experiences, and adapt their journey over time. Long term, Vibe Travel could evolve into a lifestyle platform for creators, digital nomads, and conscious travellers who want to live the world more intentionally.
