Inspiration

The inspiration for this application comes from my personal experience of struggling to plan a trip at the last moment properly!

What it does

This application will create a detailed itinerary, things to carry, and local delicacies for you along with the travel time included based on your preferred mode of travel.

How we built it

A lot of research took place to pin down which inputs should be kept for the application and how one creates a prompt to achieve the desired output.

Challenges we ran into

The major challenge was creating a prompt that gives the most personalized output with the least number of inputs.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The application came out to how it was imagined and the rest is history!

What we learned

Creating this application helped explore the concept of prompt engineering and how GenAI can be utilized to ease your daily life.

What's next for Travel Itinerary Planner

Improvement is the key! So, the next steps would be to continue research into prompt engineering and give the users a more personalized experience and outcome.
