In this pandemic situation, the eagerness to go travel is getting powerful. Considering the demand, we are suggesting this project for helping them out to plan a trip after the pandemic ends!

Inspiration

The COVID-19 pandemic is the defining global health crisis of our time and the greatest global humanitarian challenge the world has faced since World War II. This virus is spreading rapidly, and the number of cases is rising daily as our government works to slow its spread. The travel sector has been affected the most post-covid-19 lockdowns in various countries. So we have designed an application where the user has a chance to create his/her own trip and also the user has an option to go on a default trip according to his/her budget.

What it does

In this background, we are here to help you out planning your trip! We have two options: first, trip packages. If you don’t want to plan a trip from A to Z, it will be a great option for you. We have collected opinions from those who already traveled a city to make a trip package. We are sure you will love them.

Second, design your own. If you want to make your trip special by designing it from scratch, it will help you. If you enter your destination and your budget, it will suggest to you the lists of restaurants, accommodations, and other facilities.

How we built it

We used our knowledge of web development using languages and frameworks such as HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT, REACT NATIVE, BOOTSTRAP, JQUERY. We have hosted our project on 000webshost.com.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into a couple of challenges like our teammates are not in the same time zone so managing with them was a big task for us. But we successfully managed that.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Even if we are able to address some people and reduce the cost of their trip, we see this project as successful. Also, helping all travel agencies, for easy management and plan future-readiness so that once again the travel sector can grow and contribute to the country GDP.

What we learned

We gained a lot of knowledge from the workshops and implementing that knowledge into our project. To complete the application in a restricted time was a learning for us that how we can complete our project within a certain amount of time with the best quality.

What's next for Travel Designer

Integrating it with traveling sectors for scaling the project. Providing track of their swap reports and tentative dates to reduce the cost of the trip for the user. Also, reaching to more number of users so that they have a chance to plan a trip according to them.
