Inspiration

Just asking other travelers for a recommendation is so much better and faster than online research. This skill attempts to approximate the experience of getting a recommendation from a fellow traveler.

What it does

Provides recommendation on the travel destination and transportation based on budget, preferred activities and number of people.

How I built it

I used Alexa Conversations and AWS backend.

Challenges I ran into

AC UI is buggy and hard to use.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Learned AC quite a bit in a short amount of time.

What I learned

Annotating dialogs is hard, no matter what tools.

What's next for Travel Bug

Provide my data driven APIs.
