Inspiration

Our inspiration stemmed from the desire to develop an AI buddy to streamline location information retrieval and itinerary planning.

What it does

Travel Buddy offers a comprehensive suite of features including showcasing attractions, creating travel itineraries, highlighting top food establishments, providing travel tips, and presenting a complete budget overview.

How we built it

The project was constructed using React for the frontend and Flask for the backend, with the integration of Google Gemini API for data sourcing.

Challenges we ran into

One of the major challenges we encountered was fetching the accurate format of data and seamlessly reflecting it in the frontend interface.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I take pride in successfully completing the project within a week and enhancing the user interface to deliver a polished experience.
