Inspiration

A group of my friends were traveling to a new city and found it difficult to find the best places to visit, taste local food, and find good accommodation. I realized that many travelers face the same challenge and decided to build a solution to make their travels easier and more enjoyable.

What it does

The project, named "TRAVEL BUDDY", is a mobile application that provides personalized recommendations for tourists visiting a city. It uses AI algorithms to recommend popular tourist attractions, local food specialties, and comfortable places to stay based on the user's preferences and budget.

How we are making

The team consist of software developers, and designers will be working together to build the application. We will collect data from various sources, including tourist boards and local food critics, to create a comprehensive database of city recommendations. We will be using machine learning algorithms to personalize the recommendations for each user based on their preferences and previous activities.

Challenges

One of the main challenges would be collecting accurate and up-to-date data from a large number of cities. Additionally, creating a personalized recommendation system that balances the user's preferences with the available options would be a complex task that required a lot of experimentation and fine-tuning.
