We took inspiration from sustainability and knowing that flights and cars emit too much carbon than intended

Helps you keep track of flights while helping the environment and local communities.

How we built it

Completely made with Figma.

Challenges we ran into

Trying to deploy it onto code without any backend experience.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Making a beautiful design with a personalized color palette while also learning how to use Figma, and turning in the project

What we learned

To not wait until the last moment to submit hackathon projects and to communicate all ideas!

What's next for Travel Buddy

Try to deploy it as a website in the future! With it deployed as a website, some features in consideration are: sustainable air tickets (using Google Flights API, we can find the best ticket for our user that not only is cheap, but also a low carbon emission!), different modes of transportation (such as train, car, boat), and Travel Buddy Wallet (holds E-tickets for user to keep everything involving transportation in one place!)
