Travel Assistance - Translator

Inspiration: Google translate, Assessible and More understanding communications

What it does: Our Project is a Translator, and our theme is on travels. We chose to do this because this project would help tourists understand different languages people speak in different countries, which makes their travelling experience a more enjoyable and understandable one. Our Translator Mainly Focuses on 3 main components:

Text translation -> user enters text, translated text comes out Visual Translation -> user scans a text, translated text comes out Audio Translation -> user speak, translated text comes out

How we built it: We used HTML, CSS, JS

Challenges we ran into: Since we lack face to face interactions with a high possibility of 2 members not turning up on the final day, we did not have an easy time communicating ideas and trying to express our opinions, as we had to wait for all members to come online to discuss or agree on something together.

Accomplishments that we're proud of: We managed to efficiently complete most of the website applications, for example we are able to complete text translation, and we are almost/done with audio and visual translations. We are also proud we managed to come to agreements quickly and not ponder over them for a long time, thus saving a lot of time.

What we learned: We learnt the importance of teamwork and we also learnt the importance of a translator in traelling or visiting foreign places. We also deepend our knowledge on html css and js through hands on coding and researching online helpful websites like stack overflow and chatgpt.

What's next for Travel Assistance - Translator: Since we did not complete the audio and visual translator, we would work on it till it works, once they are done we will upload the files onto pythonanywhere.com amking it a server and then it would be officially completed
