Inspiration :

We all love to go out for trips with friends and family. But, planning for it takes a lot of times because of which sometimes the plans are left in middle or are cancelled. This takes away all the fun. For this we have made this application that helps plan trip easily.

What it does :

It is an application to make your trip planning easy and simple. In this you can create your own private room that is end-end to encrypted for you to share your ideas , plan your trips with your family and friends. We also have an option beside the chat so that you can search for the photos of the favorite place you wish to visit and if they make you wish to have a look in real. Just plan in the chat and book your tickets.

How we built it :

First, the chat application feature along with separate private room creation was added using react and node.js with CSS . Next the chat was made end-to-end encrypted to provide security. Finally the Unsplash API was integrated to get the image search feature.

Challenges we ran into :

It was my first time trying to build an application using react and then integrating API with it. So, I faced a lot of issues in getting the pages the way I want, add links to it and integrate the API successfully. But finally after a lot of search and tries I built it.

Accomplishments that we're proud of :

There were a lot of challenges like getting the pages render perfectly, make the API work fine and secure the API key. But even after all this I made what I wished to, learned a lot, and made an application that can be used in future by everyone to plan their exciting trips.

What we learned :

I learned a lot during this journey. I learned how to use react and node.js to build some amazing applications. I also learned how to integrate API's and secure the API keys. Finally, during the process I learned some solutions of problems which I faced while making it that can help me in future resolve them instantly. I also learned how to go through docs effectively to find out the best solution.

What's next for Travart - A One Stop Trip Application :

There are a lot of things which I wished to implement. But due to time constraints it was not possible. In future I will be adding some features like if a user wants to checkout some of the best hotels, places to visit in the location they are planning for they can easily while chatting. Another feature which will help them get to know the flight and train timings with fare so hat they can plan accordingly. All the features will be present in a drop-down menu present on the right hand side of the chat for the user to choose and get what they require immediately without leaving the chat. Finally, there will be a feature to get their search synced in a room so that both can plan on the same things.
