Trash2Cash

What it does

We connect local scrap dealers with people/customers at their home. We allow both users and scrap dealers (we call them partners) to register on our platform. Our platform acts as a common place where partners can come online, and the users being able to sell their trash. And eventually leading to an clean environment both at their homes and the surroundings.

How we built it

We built it using the MERN stack. Also We have assured that the user privacy details (such as password) are encrypted before publishing them to the DataBase

Challenges we ran into

One feature we wanted to add was - real time chat support. Although we have knowledge about WebSockets, but we couldn't develop that feature due to time constraints.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were a team of 2 and still we managed to make a project like this in such a short period of time. So we are really proud of that.

What's next for Trash2Cash

Our future plans are to implement mail notifications and real-time chat support. Also we plan to make the website more visually appealing. Also we might add a payment gateway to it too, so that the transacations between both of our clients goes smoothly.
