Transpire

Inspiration

We aim to build off of the existing tradition amongst trans people of community-based knowledge, by making that knowledge more accessible and far-reaching. Since most of the information on HRT/surgeries is "crowdsourced," anecdotal, we wanted to create an application that would help with that

What it does

This application is to record and track information about their health and any medical transitioning options they are pursuing.

How I built it

We built this application in React and hosted it on Firebase.

Challenges I ran into

React was new to all of us, and there was a power outage!

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

We all worked well together, learned a lot, and contributed to the project!

What I learned

React, teamwork, and always more Git!

What's next for Transpire

Finish the back-end, a mobile app, and sharing!
