Transparent smart helmet

Inspiration I inspired it from hard helmets used in Construction sites and also from bubbles , actually corona is a micro virus who had made a big panic in the world , bubbles are weak phisically but using it as a metaphore. It will become strong bubbles . (Transparent helmets has the form of a bubble ) .

We will create a strong bubbles army to fight covid19 .

What it does : Transparent smart helmet is a connected device to a cloud based platform that detect fever of people in crowded spaces in addition to record also fever the medical staff . And all data are recorded on a cloud based platform for further use .

How I built it The product consists of a camera module , thermal sensors, set of batteries and the raspberry pi 1. There are five thermal sensors which can successfully read the temperature of 4 faces in the background while the fifth thermal sensor reads the temperature of the medical personnel wearing the helmet .

A camera module whose field of view is 180 degree which is same as the human sight. Once the camera images the surroundings, the faces of the people in the surrounding are detected using artificial intelligence and the temperatures are measured simultaneously and displayed on the lens of the strong bubble. Recordings would be immediately be uploaded on the cloud via the cloud interface on the raspberry pi.

Challenges I ran into: Coronavirus spreads through droplets and contact from person-to-person. It showed high spreading particularity therefore Corona was classified by OMS

as a pandemic .

Covid-19 had caused a terrible panic in all sectors such as medical sectors ,it become defficult for management to manage their staff and business in this special period and conditions . As a result many peoblemes emerged this days in healthcare sector :

Extensive number of deathes and infected medical staff Scientists have issued an urgent call to protect health workers in hospitals after finding “extensive” number of deaths of medical staff .

High levels of contamination in healthcare facilities:

as well as high levels of coronavirus contamination in specialist wards and intensive-care units .

the lack of effective ppe products in the market

It is not always possible to identify patients with coronavirus infection because some patients are asymptomatic . For this reason, it is important that health workers use personal protective equipment consistently when providing care to all patients, regardless of their diagnosis. Their rigorous implementation is crucial for the control of outbreak situations.
