Inspiration

Translatica was formed based on the original idea that YouTubers could increase their userbase by dubbing their videos in a high quality fashion.

What it does

Translatica uses OpenAI and SO VITS SVG to generate a dub of a video lecture while maintaining the lectures tone and voice

How we built it

We combined a voice inference model with Google Translate and Google Transcription to develop high quality engaging lecture videos in other languages.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of completing the end-to-end product with the capability to translate seamlessly from lecture videos.

What we learned

We learned an extreme amount about voice training and inferring, and more about AI/ML in general in how it can impact education.
