Inspiration

We wanted to make an application that allows users to learn new words in different languages from pictures.

What it does

This application takes a photo from your camera or library and determines the one word description using AlchemyVision API. Then using the IBM Translator, we translate the single word, such as "Dog", into Arabic, French, Spanish, and Portuguese from English.

Challenges I ran into

Challenges that we ran into was figuring out how callback functions work in javascript

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

We are proud of being able to complete the program that we initially conceptuallized

What I learned

We have learn how to use javascript, parse, and the IBM's API.
