Welcome to FreeOS – a modern, lightweight, and beautifully designed operating system built from the ground up.

The second result of making FreeOS is FreautyOS – Free + Beauty – a simple and elegant interface that reflects the essence of FreeOS: openness, usability, and independence. FreeOS is 100% free to use – no license keys, no restrictions, no tracking. Just freedom and functionality. Now, all I need is your support to help this project grow and reach more users around the world. Languages supported: Polish (default), English, Spanish, and Simplified Chinese. Default password: freeOS You can change the language in Settings, or by typing in Terminal: fos-pe ** (pl / en / es / cn)

FreeOS is ideal for students and everyday users. Whether you're on a tablet, laptop or PC, FreeOS runs smoothly and efficiently. It’s completely serverless – no cloud dependencies, no hidden background processes. But wait – before I show you the apps, here’s some exciting news: I'm working on the "Really Free" app store for FreeOS! The current version is called FreeOS Alpha, but the next version – FreeOS Beta – will introduce new features and the Really Free app store.

Seven Golden Tips

  1. If you are not using the system, lock screen using Settings or go to Always-Free app.
  2. Remember, that you can change wallpaper in Settings.
  3. Use Stints app to create brainstorms or "mind maps".
  4. Wikipedia work in Browser - it is #1 website for students, but this website is useful for everyone.
  5. You don't like FreeOS logo animation? Turn it off in Terminal: fos-la off
  6. Are you participating in important event? Just add it to Calendar!
  7. Watch YouTube for some relax 😎
