Our mission is to connect people and try to improve their live by providing them an app where they could structure their day and chat with other people.

Inspiration

We were inspired by the challenges that Facebook and Google presented. We wanted to make an application that would help people structure their day and make their life better. We also wanted to let people connect with others and share thoughts, since this pandemic kinda set us apart.

What it does

Inspires people with random quote of the days. It also allows the user to add tasks, manage them, and delete them. If they want to express themselves they can talk in the global chat with anyone. Finally the user can see the badges they can earn by completing their tasks

How we built it

We used firebase as the backend and Reactjs as out frontend.

Challenges we ran into

Some of the challenges we ran into was being able to save an object into firebase and then being able to display the objects properties on the screen. Another difficulty we overcame was being able to show the user experience bar at the bottom of the page that we came up with a way for it to refresh with a click of a button. It was hard to implement the Global Chat feature, it was our first time doing something like that, but we hope you would like it!. Also, the huge challenge was that it was our first hackathon and first React.js project, so we had to learn it fast, but we did it, and we are very proud about it!

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of the global chat that allows for anyone to talk in. Also the user experience bar where the user levels up depending on how many tasks they do in total. And we are really proud that we managed to get the app working on out first Hackathon and it was our first experience with React. We hope you will like the App! Also, We are proud of how we assigned roles to the team members and designed the UI in Figma so that the process of creating became faster and more effective!

What we learned

Some of the things we learned was being able to use firebase for login authentication and being able to map through different collections and fields to get certain data for each individual user. Also, we learned how great it is working in teams and that you could create exciting applications in this short amount of time!

What's next for Tranquest Cloud

What's next is to be able to give the user Badges for doing certain tasks. It is a way to motivate the user to stay engaged and explore new opportunities.
