Inspiration

As members of the Black community, we have seen firsthand how systemic barriers and lack of accountability can prevent resources from reaching the people and projects that need them most. Whether it’s in infrastructure, education, or local initiatives, funds often get mismanaged, milestones go unverified, and those who should benefit are left waiting. TrancheGuard was born from the desire to empower communities with transparency and trust. We wanted to create a tool where donors, contractors, and auditors can collaborate with clear accountability so that every milestone completed is recognized and every dollar is traceable. Our vision is bigger than just software; it’s about creating equitable systems. By ensuring that work is verified before funds are released, we give communities the confidence that projects will be completed as promised. For us, as a Black-led team, this project is a step toward leveraging technology to close gaps, reduce corruption, and uplift communities globally. We believe that trust should never be a barrier to progress, and TrancheGuard makes it possible for communities and donors to work together with integrity.
