On June 20th, the Canada Strong Pass is expected to be released and includes free visits to Canada's beautiful natural parks. As an air cadet with extensive survival training experience, I see the immense potential that this pass provides to youth, but I also see the danger. Backcountry camping is an exercise filled with risk, and Canadian youth need to have a solid plan and understanding before embarking on any adventure. Many lack such experience building a safe plan, and therefore, increase their risk of being injured or worse with no ability to contact outside help.
TrailMixr is my solution to solve this dilemma. It ensures that Canadian youth can appreciate nature to the fullest extent while being safe. However, in order for TrailMixr to reach its potential and as a first-time startup founder, I need expertise; I need more experience and advice to solve problems that I'm currently not equipped to solve yet. TrailMixr also needs at least $40,000 to cover the start-up costs and ensure that the launch is as smooth as possible. SpurHacks Accelerator Program can solve both these problems, providing me with both the experience and capital I need and ensure that TrailMixr can start and become a sustainable company.
Overall, TrailMixr has significant potential, especially with the outburst of excitement with the release of the Canada Strong Pass. TrailMixr also has huge business potential, and with a bit of help from experienced founders, investors, and legal and technical advisors, TrailMixr can start changing lives.
