Inspiration

We weren't inspired by any single entity in particular but we believe that a fair and a challenging gameplay loop is always fun to play.

What it does

It allows user to interact with the canvas to unhide the hidden words that they have to piece together to win. There is a confidence meter which can direct the user in the right path.

How we built it

We used tag for fog and scattered characters, and we used CSS animations and styles . We used tag for handling sound

Challenges we ran into

1) The two canvases were giving trouble with intractability with user as their sizes had to be responsive along with the markup 2) A few bugs when there were mismatches of characters on the canvas and characters on the heading

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We have created a compelling gameplay loop that keeps the user on their toes with multiple types of actions required.

What we learned

1) We should never use magic numbers 2) We should always do detailed testing after every change

What's next for Trailing Words

A leaderboard and multiplayer support maybe
