Inspiration

The theme of the competition reminded me of once we were stopped at a red light for 5 minutes while there was no traffic in the other direction. I am sure AI should help reduce these kinds of situations in the future.

What it does

AI should be used in the future to control traffic lights.

Using Scratch.

Challenges we ran into

Cars kept on bumping into each other without yellow lights.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We added yellow lights which stopped the accidents.

What we learned

Now I understood better why we need a yellow light in real life!

What's Next for Traffic Management

At a specific location, AI will use stored data from the past to design a better traffic light pattern to minimize the total waiting time for each direction.
