Inspiration
I play Weiß Schwarz card game for a while. And there's a problem always bothering me. If I want to search the price of the card. The only way can do is search it from yuyu-tei. So I want to build an app to quick search the card price from yuyu-tei.
What it does
It uses real time detect to find the card's number and search it from yuyu-tei and send the price back. Faster than search it one by one yourself. Also, we add a currency conversion to let users easy to know the price.
How we built it
I ask bolt AI to create an app and wish it to build a yuyu_tei_scraper at first. And then ask bolt to add more feature like the currency conversion by calling Yahoo Finance api. Then the UI in the end.
Challenges we ran into
Scraper search all the web and take a long time. And we can't scrap the card picture.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We made it search really fast. If this app can work, Most of the Weiß Schwarz card gamer will definitely use this app.
What we learned
I spent a lot of time on how to build and app and what I need. Also, how to ask bolt to build and app is also need a lot of time to learn.
What's next for Card OCR Analyzer Mobile App
Improve the OCR detection make it more accurate. Also need to improve how to scrap the picture from yuyu-tei.
