Inspiration

We built Trader Wise for a trader who wakes up before 5am and makes dozens of high-stakes business decisions completely alone.

What it does

Trader Wise is a WhatsApp assistant that helps Ghanaian market traders think through hard business decisions

A trader describes her situation and Ama, our AI co-pilot, responds with a structured thinking framework. Not an answer — a better question.

How we built it

We built a Node.js webhook connected to the WhatsApp Business API, routing messages through a Claude-powered reasoning engine.

We are proud of what we deliberately did not build — Ama never tells a trader what to do, and that restraint was harder to enforce than any feature we added.

What we learned

The language layer is the product — if the voice feels wrong, nothing else matters, no matter how good the reasoning underneath is.
