🌟 About the Project
TradeCoach AI is a chat-based AI coach built for traders to reflect on their decisions, emotions, and behavior. It gives constructive, psychology-focused feedback — helping traders improve discipline and mindset, not just execution.
Built with Bolt during the @boltdotnew #hackathon using zero code and under 66k tokens.
💡 Inspiration
As the creator of TraderMesh, I’ve seen that many traders don’t just need analytics — they need accountability and emotional clarity. TradeCoach AI was inspired by real journal entries where traders just wanted to “talk it out.”
I wanted to create something that would listen, reflect, and guide — not just analyze charts.
🔨 How I Built It
- Built the interface using Bolt’s drag-and-drop editor
- Crafted a specialized system prompt for GPT-4o to act as a trading psychology coach
- Deployed on Netlify for quick access and sharing
🤯 What I Learned
- Prompt engineering is 90% of the work when building with AI
- No-code tools like Bolt let anyone go from idea → app in a day
- AI is powerful when it’s focused, simple, and human
🚧 Challenges I Faced
- Crafting a tone that felt supportive, not robotic
- Staying under the 66k token constraint while keeping context
- Balancing actionable feedback with empathy
📈 What’s Next
- Add emotion tracking or self-reflection scores
- Let users log trades over time and export journals
- Get real feedback from the trading community
