The inspiration for the project comes from the frustration I have had in the past when studying investments. The software essentially solves part of the problem by allowing one to train as a professor investor, while not going broke. It is built using a GUI library on python called Tkinter. The biggest challenge we faced was having the matplotlib plot animate on the GUI, since they are two different libraries there is not a default built-in to combine the two. The biggest accomplishment has to be creating the UI we had in mind for the software. We learned a great deal of python, matplotlib, and Tkinter when creating this project and although it's not completely done we are proud of how far we got.
