Inspiration:

The complexity of DeFi has created a barrier to mass adoption. We wanted to create a platform that simplifies the learning curve by making it fun, engaging, and risk-free. The idea of gamifying trading predictions emerged as a way to help users understand and interact with DeFi through participation rather than mere observation.

What it does:

Trade Signal allows users to predict the price movement of crypto assets and win rewards in our native token, SIGNAL. Users can choose hourly, daily, or weekly predictions and stake SIGNAL tokens on their chosen outcomes. Winners receive the pooled SIGNAL from incorrect predictions, creating an exciting, risk-free way to engage with DeFi trading.

How we built it:

We built Trade Signal using smart contracts on the Tron/BTTC blockchain, ensuring low transaction costs and high-speed execution. The platform integrates wallet connection features to allow seamless participation. We utilized on-chain data for real-time crypto asset prices and combined it with off-chain storage to enable fast, scalable predictions while minimizing gas fees.

Challenges we ran into:

One of the key challenges was optimizing the platform for user experience, especially in reducing the complexity of wallet connections and minimizing gas fees. Another challenge was designing a system that could handle real-time data updates and predictions without overburdening the blockchain, all while ensuring security and fairness.

Accomplishments that we're proud of:

We’re proud of creating a user-friendly platform that opens the door to DeFi for beginners. The successful implementation of our prediction mechanism with real-time crypto data and transparent reward distribution is a milestone. Additionally, we’ve managed to make the platform engaging and intuitive, setting the stage for mass adoption.

What's next for Trade Signal:

Next, we plan to add more advanced DeFi tools like copy trading and limit orders, transforming users from beginners to proficient traders. We will also continue working on waiving gas fees to make participation even more seamless. Additionally, we aim to integrate community feedback to continually improve the platform's functionality and user experience.
