Inspiration
I wanted to build a system who would help me to track my working hours, as I'm a new comer to Canada. As I've never done this before, the best idea I could come up with was to have something on my phone, so I could track my time and export it, whenever needed.
What it does
Basically, the app tracks hours. Pro users can run multiple parallel timers across different projects simultaneously. Each timer card on the Clock screen shows:
Project name and color Live elapsed time (updating every second) Break button (start/end break per timer) Clock-out button (stops that specific timer) "Forgot to clock out?" link — opens a time picker to set a past end time Free users are limited to 1 active timer. Attempting to start a second timer shows an upgrade prompt.
Target alarms calculate based on total tracked hours (sum of all active + completed timers today), matching industry standards.
How we built it
Using windsurf IDE in React Native (Expo) with a Flask backend.
Challenges we ran into
Find something relevant, since my inspiration was creating something only to myself.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Creating something competitive that follows industry standards and helps people to manage their schedules.
What we learned
This is my first Apple app, so the whole process was learned there.
What's next for TrackTwice
Help people and make money using RevenueCat. :-)
