Inspiration
Our inspiration was the theme: Try Something New. We decided to make an app to encourage people to try something new, and track their progress as they move along the process of learning a new skill, hobby, or anything else.
What it does
You set a goal and track the progress you make toward it. You can see and encourage your friends and family to keep working towards their goals. You can see others' journeys through their goal, also.
How we built it
We used several different technologies used on this project. 2 people split into the back end and 2 into the front end. We used flutter for the mobile development and C# and SQL for the backend.
Challenges we ran into
Environment hosting on Azure, Environment for android phones/ Windows laptops for making the app, and the technical complexity of the project.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Getting a good-looking frontend and a functioning backend
What we learned
We learned a lot about Azure, flutter, and RESTful API's.
What's next for TrackStar
Integration of the more complex features.
