Inspiration

We built HELPxGROW because we felt that a lot of people want to learn, improve, or solve a problem but don't always know whom to ask. Sometimes one good connection or one right piece of guidance can save hours of confusion. We wanted to create something where people can easily ask for help, share what they know, and grow together.

What it does

HELPxGROW is a platform where people can connect with others based on what they need help with or what they can help others with. The idea is simple — if you know something, you can help someone, and if you don't know something, you can find the right person to guide you.

How we built it

We first worked on the basic user flow and tried to keep everything as simple as possible. Then we designed the interface and started building the core features one by one. We connected the frontend with the backend, tested different flows, fixed bugs, and kept improving the experience as we went. A lot of the development was basically build, test, break, fix, and repeat.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge was deciding what to actually build and what to leave out. We had a lot of ideas, but trying to add everything made the product complicated. We also faced the usual problems with connecting different parts of the application, handling user interactions, fixing bugs, and making the overall experience feel smooth.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we took an idea that started as a simple discussion and turned it into a working product. Getting all the different parts to work together was a good learning experience for us. More than the number of features, we are happy that the project actually solves a problem we wanted to address.

What we learned

We learned that building a project is very different from just having an idea. Things don't always work the first time, and sometimes the simplest solution is better than the most complicated one. We also learned a lot about working as a team, dividing tasks, debugging, and making decisions quickly when there is limited time.

What's next for Track 3 — AI-native Enterprise

We want to make HELPxGROW more useful and personalized. The next step is improving how users find the right people and resources based on what they need. We also want to add better community features and eventually make HELPxGROW a place where people don't just ask for help, but actually build long-term connections and grow together.
