Inspiration –
The idea for TraceMate was born from the frustration of juggling multiple tracking apps for different aspects of life—fitness, finances, tasks, and goals. People need a single, intuitive tool that simplifies organization and provides actionable insights without the hassle of switching platforms. Inspired by the growing demand for streamlined productivity and the power of AI, TraceMate aims to bring clarity and control to life's chaos, empowering users to stay on top of their priorities effortlessly.
What it does –
TraceMate is a versatile tracking app that consolidates all your personal and professional tracking needs in one place. Whether it’s managing tasks, tracking fitness goals, monitoring finances, or logging habits, TraceMate provides a centralized platform with customizable dashboards. It leverages AI to analyze your data, offering actionable insights and trends to help you make informed decisions.
How we built it –
We developed TraceMate using React Native for a smooth cross-platform UI and Node.js with MongoDB for a robust backend. AI-driven insights were created with Python and machine learning libraries.
Challenges we ran into –
Scalability: Designing a backend that could handle large amounts of real-time data while maintaining performance and reliability pushed the limits of our architecture.
