Inspiration

We are inspired by the need to find a solution to the COVID-19 pandemic

What it does

TraceJYU provides three main functionalities for contact tracing, contact avoidance, and lifestyle management. The contact tracing feature informs a user that s/he has come in contact with (i.e., come within 2-meter proximity of) someone who is or may be infected with COVID-19. The contact avoidance feature promptly alerts a user who is within 2-meter proximity of a person with or is suspected to have COVID-19. The lifestyle management feature guides a user through steps to avoid or combat COVID-19.

Mostly, the challenge we have is development.

We are proud we came up with a mocked-up solution to COVID-19, and having the chance to engage with innovative people on this platform.

What I learned

I learned about the political, privacy, and security implications of the solution and the importance of placing the user at the center of the design.

We are finalizing our mockup and then attempt development.
