Traccination.com is a crowdsourced vaccination tracking app that allows the recently “poked” to record their vaccination and share with others on social media sites. The goal of traccination.com is to promote vaccination, crowdsource regional vaccination data, and leverage links to social media. A traccination QR code to encourage participation can be used on poster, print ads, and billboards, displayed on a monitor, or handed out on a small card once one has received the shot. Whether by browser or by scanning the QR code on a mobile phone, a person can immediately enter their vaccination record on traccination.com and share this information on social media sites. At this time, traccination is province or state wide but can be tailored to any region down to a community level if one desired. We hope to make the application freely available to anyone interested in hosting a similar site for their area.
