Inspiration
The idea behind the trA.I. Travel Agency project was to create a travel platform that could understand natural language and make the process of finding flights, activities, and events easier and more efficient for the user. Instead of having to pick date ranges and sorting through flights, the user can just enter a few words and have all the best matching options based on their criteria in an user friendly interface.
What it does
The project processes natural language inputs from the user and returns relevant information about flights, and soon, activities, and events based on their location and criteria. The user can provide their location and specify what they are looking for, and the AI will return the best options available. The user also has the opportunity to further refine their results.
How we built it
We used OpenAI's language processing AI, within a single page web application using the MERN stack.

We went into the hackathon with big ideas, but did not think we could actually create a working app that utilizes AI, but we did it within 36 hours and had a working prototype.

To keep going even though we were stuck plenty of times trying to get our project to compile
What's next for trA.I. Travel Agency
Improve the website's UI/UX, as well as implementing more features such as an interactive map of the destination, and current events, activities, and trending places.
