Inspiration
We wanted to make something that forced us to learn more about python and its modules. So, creating a few games allowed for us to learn a lot about Pygame and Pygbag, the two main things we used to create this project
What it does
It's an interactive website that acts as a hub to select a few games to play on local play.
How we built it
We used HTML, CSS, and Python to create it. We split the work up amongst each other, but there was lots of overlap of work among different files.
Challenges we ran into
We ran into a lot of challenges when working on this project. One of the main challenges we encountered was figuring out the GUI functionality in Pygame.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are very proud of being able to learn Pygame in one day, and implement some simple games onto a website.
What we learned
We learned the ins and outs of Pygame and also practiced setting up communication between HTML and Python, using Pygbag
What's next for Tournament Turkey
As of now, we only have it functioning on our local host, so we would like to get it to work on all machines. We also would like to add online multiplayer capabilities, so you could play against your friends online.
