Inspiration
Seeing small artists not be able to take their talents around the nation is a serious issue in todays day and age. Music is a gift that should be shared with everyone so we built tourlytics to bridge that gap.
What it does
Optimizes the best tour venues and routes for specific artists based on their specific data. By analyzing this, we create a full tour map/plan and allow agentic AI to go further to actually plan these venues and dates.
How we built it
We used a variety of APIs including Chartmetric, Gemini for building datasets,
Challenges we ran into
Finding data was quite difficult since most data in the music space is behind paywalls. To combat this, we spent a lot of time researching alternatives such as creating our own datasets to analyze.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Were proud of learning how to optimize problems with various variables. It was also a huge task to learn how to actually create the data and use the tools we had at hand to create a project out of that.
What we learned
We learned that data is a huge roadblock in these projects. Understanding what we can answer with the data at hand was a big lesson we learned.
What's next for tourlytics
Implementing a variety of other ai features to help artists be able to plan and manage what they need without the need to get managers on board.
