Inspiration

Loving to travel ourselves, we wanted to make an app that will give tourists a local perspective of the places they visit. As they say, you haven't fully experienced a place without putting yourself in the shoes of its locals.

What it does

Tour Me connects tourists with local guides. A user, after logging in, can search up a location and see all the people willing to give tours listed with their contact information. A user can then call or email the "tour guide" to discuss their schedule, itinerary, price, etc. A person can also register themselves as a tour guide, providing their preferred contact information and a blurb about themselves and what they will be willing to do tours about. They are put in the database, and are now visible when their city is searched.
