Inspiration

COVID-19 virus and similar types of other viruses remain active on surfaces from hours to days. By limiting the “Touched” Financial Transactions will help limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus and other similar types of viruses.

What it does

Existing online e-Commerce ecosystem is a first step towards enabling “Touchless” Digital Payment System. However, we cannot order everything online! You still have to drive and physically give credit card or cash to get things. We Propose to Build a Centrally Connected “Touchless” Digital Payment System enabling “Touchless” Financial Transactions.

We have proposed short-term and long-term approaches:

For the short-term we recommend to extend the existing RFID-powered Electronic Toll Collection System as “Touchless” Digital Payment System for different types of financial Transactions. This system is more or less implemented for toll collection in many countries, which would help to make a global impact and global consistency.

For the long-term we recommend to build Blockchain- and RFID- Powered Global/National Touchless Digital Payment Ecosystem.
