Touch grass

What it does

Lets you touch grass with out going out side, by automatically maintaining the health of a small patch of grass. This can protect your mental health from vicious personal attacks online, if some one tells you to "touch grass" you can confidently replie "I am".

How we built it

We used an Arduino to automatically maintain a the health a patch of grass through automatic watering.We needed a way to turn on and of an ac pump that plugged into a normal outlet, this was dun by using a motor to flick a power strip switch on and off.

Challenges we ran into

Switching on water pump. We needed a way to turn on and of an ac pump that plugged into a normal outlet, this was dun by using a motor to flick a power strip switch on and off.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Using a power strip and a motor to PWM control a ac pump.
