Inspiration

All the team members working in this team spends too much every day. Therefore, we want to build a mobile app that can help us to keep a record on our budget, and give us some financial advice.

What it does

This app allows you to have a personal financial manager at no cost. It not only helps you to keep a record of your income and expenditure, but also offers you feedback plus personal suggestions based on these feedbacks. For example, it allows you to study the pattern of your earnings and spendings. It can also give you some advice on how you should spend your money to achive your saving goals.

How we built it

We built it using Unity to design the user interface of the app, and we use python to analyse and visualize the data.

Challenges we ran into

We are undergraduates who did not really study finance at college, so our financial advice may not be reliable!

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We used nice python library such as plotly to generate beautiful diagrams.

What we learned

We gained experience of using Unity, plotly, pandas, model fitting, maximum likelihood estimation, statistical hypothesis testing etc. We also learned how to manage our team.
