Inspiration

Being students who graduated from junior college we have all endured the hardship of trying to visualise scientific concepts and models. These models are usually in 3 dimensions and are not the easiest to visualise. This sparked the idea of using AR to aid educators in teaching so as to allow students to have this software that they can rely on to comprehend, annotate and break down the models. This product allows educators to provide a visual learning avenue for the purpose of accommodating different learning styles.

Productivity Metropolis Accelerator

A product for the purpose of enhancing learning experience in the education industry. Our current product is a use case example in the medical industry. This can be applied to other industries such as physical sciences, architecture and the list goes non-exhaustive. Our product is a one-stop solution for an interactive, immersive and engaging learning experience.

What it does

-The app will scan a plane -Once a plane is scanned, we can tap anywhere on the plane to place the model

  • +/- buttons allow the model to be moved up and down vertically -XRAY feature allows students to take a closer look at the inner linings of the organ -Highlight feature allows students to highlight a specific part of the heart and name it. This can aid in understnading as well as memory retention -Reset feature allows the organ chosen to be reset back, removing the highlights and annotations. this allows the student to restart from a clean slate if necessary

What's next for Top2Percent-Xperience_2024

-With a larger design team, we can expand this idea to the remaining organs of the human body and can even extend this idea by branching into the organ structures of other animals as well

  • The complexity of the organ models can also be possibly altered in the future to cater to the differrring levels of education
  • Change of Model for other education purposes, e.g( Human anatomy, Atom Visualisation, Enterprise Product visualisation)
